Farhin is interested in examining the role of self-compassion for buffering the negative effects of discrimination on the mental health of marginalized youth. Specifically, her research interests include self-compassion, ethnic and sexual minorities, discrimination and equity. Farhin was previously a tutor for children and a clinical research coordinator at the RI-MUHC. When she’s not in a study mode, she enjoys painting, going on road trips, doing yoga/pilates and exploring new hobbies! Her life mantra is live and learn.
